| Our Programs are designed to get information into the hands of the community, to encourage the use of this site as an educational tool, and to locate training and employment for those interested. We are well aware of the computer and Internet challenges within Indian country. Therefore, we have created materials that can be either read or viewed on DVD or CD Rom so that members of our community that do not have access to a computer or the Internet are included in learning about these career opportunities. Feel free to contact us for more information or to schedule an event. Programs:
Training match up
We work together with schools and organizations to co-sponsor an event. At this event, we will have videos and live presentations on a variety of opportunities. Guest speakers from the industry will be involved in the presentations. NWP provides the expertise, presentations, and Internet promotions. The host organization provides the location, local sponsors, and local promotions. Recruitment efforts will be important at each participating event. Applications for OJT from our employment sponsors, match up with NABCEP training providers, resume drop off and other recruitment and information gathering methods will be utilized at every event where NWP has a presence. School Project: Relating Green Collar Careers to our Traditions We have designed a school project that can be combined with our Green Collar Career day event or to be utilized separately. It engages our students in a Green Collar Careers research paper, and includes artwork, traditional stories and historical Tribal references. Students are invited to present their findings and artwork when the GCCD event is held in their community. Services: Grantwriting in the areas of:
